Our Holiday Hours (and how we know Santa wears Gore-Tex)

I mean, it's pretty obvious. He's travelling 10,703,437.5 kilometres an hour, so windproof is an absolute must. Additionally, at least half of the globe is covered in snow and he's doubtless going to be whipping through some pretty fierce blizzards (or rain, in Blighty), so waterproof is a premium. And then there's the Southern Hemisphere - breathability is essential, right?

To make a long story short, our research has determined

Oh yeah, he's stylin'.

that he's probably wearing the Outdoor Research Maximus Jacket. It's candy-apple red (thanks for the tip, Beach Boys), and features 'extra stretch in key areas' (probably important, based on Santa's silhouette).

Anyway, stylish outerwear aside, there's a more important point: Santa's magic sleigh gets him where he needs to be at just the right time, but we'd hate for you to travel in to our stores and find out that they're closed. So, here are our holiday hours:

25 - Christmas day: CLOSED!

26 - Boxing day: Still closed!

27 - Saturday: 9 am to 5 pm

28 - Sunday: 9 am to 5 pm (extra long hours!)

29 - 30: normal trading hours

31 - New Year's Eve: 9:30 am to 4 pm (early closing).

1 - New Year's Day: closed

If you really want to find us during those times, you can try and track us down at the mountains or bushlands somewhere (not at home, though; that'd be creepy.) Other than that, we'll see you for business as usual after the holidays!
