Description
Sterling PowerCord is a very unique product and a favourite amongst climbers or canyons. It features a specially braided Technora core which doubles the strength of a standard 6mm prussic cord. Because it is extremely compact and lightweight but with a strength of 19kN, it makes it great for rigging multipoint anchors or extending runners. It also is great for ultralight haul lines or tag lines.
Just do note that because the Sterling Powercord is stiffer than standard nylon 6mm accessory cord, it doesn't work well for prussic loops as it doesn't "grab" on the rope effectively.
