The Grivel Crown 12 Point Crampon Protector is a lightweight and compact option to safely transport 12 point crampons either in your luggage or on the trail approach. Fits most 12 and 10 point crampons including G10, G12 and G14 but also from other manufacturers. If you're wanting to get rid of as many grams as possible but still want to tell your mum you're playing it safe - swap out your crampon bag for these guys. They also pack really small in the lid or bottom of your alpine bag while climbing.
