The Petzl Zipka is an ultra compact head torch with retractable headband but still punches out a good 300 lumens of light. Chuck it in your pack no matter where you are heading– on a walk, a day at the crag, cycling to work, backpacking round the world. If you get stuck out when the sun goes down it's there ready to go. 

The Petzl Zipka can be run on 3X AAA batteries or Petzl's own "Core" rechargeable battery pack. If features a red light to maintain night vision as well as a glow-in-the-dark casing around the beam so you can always find it in your tent.
