Perhaps the best feature of the Petzl Corax though is its double waist buckle. This serves two purposes. The first is that it makes it really adjustable, so much so that they only need two sizes of it. So if in summer you're sport climbing in a t-shirt and winter you're mountaineering in a full alpine layering setup including down jacket, the the one Corax will be able to handle both. The second is that no matter where you are in the adjustment, the waist is always centred on your hips. This not only makes it more comfortable but also makes it easier to reach all your gear on every gear loop.
