Blue Mountains Crag Closures from Bushfires
The current NSW Bushfires have caused, and are still causing a huge amount of damage in the Blue Mountains National Park. For all Blue Mountains, Sydney and visiting climbers keep this Google Doc's link handy over the next little while. It is an updated list of all the Blue Mountains crag closures caused by the current bushfires in the Blue Mountains National Park and surrounding areas. It is also wise to couple this with the "Fires Near Me NSW" phone app from the NSW Rural Fire Service.
It's a great idea to be choosing crags with shorter approaches at this time. Make sure you always keep an eye on wind direction and changing conditions during the day. Stay safe and have fun!
