Shipping policy

Our shipping details are as follows

For Australian Customers

Free shipping within Australia for purchases totalling over $99.

For all other purchases within Australia we charge a flat rate of $20.

You can opt-in for Express Shipping at an additional charge.

We may add extra shipping charges to overly bulky items (like bouldering mats) or reserve them for Click and Collect only. 

Your purchases will be sent via Australia Post using Parcel Post. 

All parcels are "sign on delivery" unless otherwise explicitly requested by the customer. 

Please allow a  2-10 working days for delivery to metropolitan areas. (Subject to availablity).

Mountain Equipment does not make guarantees in regards to Australia Post's shipping times.

Mountain Equipment always endeavours to dispatch orders immediately. However as products may be sourced from different stores and correlated please allow up to 3 days for dispatch. 

*Due to their size, boulder pads (crash pads) incur a freight charge of $40. They are sent via Courier service. Click & Collect is free. 

 

New Zealand Customers

We do not offer free shipping to New Zealand.

Standard Air Freight- For all purchases where weight is not exceeding 5kg there is a flat rate of $30

Express Air Freight - For all purchases where weight is not exceeding 5kg there is a flat rate of $40

With your permission, we will do our best to limit excess packaging to keep the parcel weight under 5Kg. 

For any parcels exceeding 5Kg in weight, staff will contact you via email to let you know of additional shipping charges. 

We do not offer free returns from New Zealand. NZ customers can return products at their own expense. For more information see our Returns Policy Here.

Any importing duties or taxes incurred by the order entering New Zealand is the responsibility of the customer. 

Some brands and product categories are excluded from New Zealand orders. This includes, but is not limited to, Outdoor Research and Exped, as well as boulder mats and larger wheelie bags. 

We are not currently shipping outside of Australian and New Zealand
