Covid-19 Update - What we're doing for safe shopping
Dear friends and outdoor community,
We understand that these are pretty turbulent times and because of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) we are encouraged to practice social distancing and limiting indoor gatherings among a whole host of other measures. While we're doing our best at Mountain Equipment to maintain "business as usual" we are also putting in place measures recommended by the Government to limit the spread of the virus including but not limited to the following:
- A rigorous cleaning and disinfectant roster for all touch points in store
- Closely monitoring staff health
- Monitoring staff movement and adherence to social distancing
- Regular staff hand washing
- Hand sanitisers for staff and customers
- Ensuring web orders are processed and packed with strict hygiene standards
- Maintaining space in stores to adhere to the 1.5m distance guidelines
- Limiting the number of customers in stores to comply with the 4m2 rule
- Going cashless in stores and using credit/debit/phone tap only
We also understand that customers should be practicing their own social distancing measures wherever possible to limit the COVID-19 spread and we certainly encourage this. However it doesn't mean that all fun in life has to cease. We at Mountain Equipment want to love you from afar and help you to still live your best life.

Limiting Store hours - just a bit
For now we're keeping things as normal as possible but we have limited Thursday late night shopping and weekend open times:
Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri: 9am - 5:30pm
Sat: 10am - 3pm
Sunday: 11am - 3pm
Mountain Equipment continues to work hard to supply people with gear and advice for their passions and also to ensure the safety of our community.
