Revel Jacket
I've worn the Revel jacket through the bush, adventuring through different countries, and for general urban use.
Reliably, durably waterproof. Lightweight but tough and abrasion resistent enough for regular use with a daypack. Perfect for travel. Very compact, will fit into an Exped XXS roll-top drybag (1 litre capacity.) Convenient zip away hood is a functional size with short visor and drawcord adjustment around the head. It's not very bulky when zipped away, but allows the collar to stand up around the neck just enough to add a desirable degree of wind protection. The jacket is light enough to be useful as a very effective wind-breaker alone for cold days. The zippered chest pockets are not too difficult to open and close with one hand, when filled.
A friend who borrowed the jacket to ride home on a bike in the rain was very impressed!
