Rab UK Alpine Gloves - Matt
One of my favourite things I've ever bought! The Rab Alpine gloves are dexterous enough to easily place screws, rock gear and clip biners or tie knots. Perfect for NZ summer mountaineering or use in colder conditions with over-mitts on belays. -
DMM Flight 45 Crag Bag- Sam
The DMM Flight 45 holds everything I need for a day at the crag. It will fit a full trad rack, harness, shoes, down jacket lunch, rope and helmet. It's also great as a carry on bag for travel or weekend away. Bought it for climbing, but use it for everything. -
Sea To Summit Alpha Pot- Josh
The Sea to Summit Alpha Pot just feels like a titanium pot that would normally cost 3 times as much. It's crazy light, super tough and the little features like the lid holder, strainer and the mechanism on the handle is so well thought out. -
Petzl Gri Gri Belay Device- Jen
The Petzl GriGri is such a tried and true method of adding some extra security to your belaying. Whether you're a light person belaying someone heavier and need some help, or you're getting a newer climber to belay you and just want to feel a tad safer. -
Exped Synmat HL Winter - Matt
At 405 grams and an insulation R-Value of 4.9, nothing is as light, compact and warm for winter camping! Absolutely love this mat and has saved a heap of weight and bulk in my pack. Used for NZ alpine climbing and AUS backcountry. -
La Sportiva Katana - Nic
It's really hard to find a fault with the La Sportiva Katana if you just want one shoe that cuts the mustard for any style of rock climbing! Indoor, outdoor, bouldering, trad, sport, multi-pitch. Call it "holistic" if you will. I love it! -
La Sportiva TX5 Hiker - Dip
This is proving to be a really popular boot both for staff and customers. It's robust but still light and just so versatile. Softer than your stiff full trekkers, more supportive than the minimalist light hikers. The more technical fit makes you feel nimble too. -
Exped Venus II Extreme - Matt
I bought this for a 4 season tent but have used it for absolutely everything else including backpacking cross Europe. it ventilates enough for summer camping but come time for snow and winter it stands up to some hellish conditions. -
Beastmaker 2000 Hangboard - Shay
Training for a hard send? This is the board! The design of the board is well thought out, the low friction of the board means your fingers are working harder and is forgiving on the skin. And the training app is brutal but awesome! -
Grivel G14 Crampon - Matt
The hot forged front points of the Grivel G14 not only bite well on hard ice and rock, but they've withstood a heap of abuse. They climb hard pitches better than anything else and still handle general easy alpine plodding fine too. -
Exped Mega Mat LXW - Dave
This thing is hands down the best sleeping mat I can find for car camping style trips. Better than any swag and probably better than my mattress at home. I did end up spending a good few months on it while moving house.

Petzl Sama Harness - Gus
For the price this was really an easy choice when looking for a sport or trad climbing harness. The Endo-Frame spreads the weight really well and doesn't collapse over time. Light enough for hard sends, tough enough to beat up.
