Description

The most trusted boot in the extreme high mountains.

If you've landed on this page then you obviously know what you're looking for. The La Sportiva Olympus Mons Cube mountaineering boot is a staple in the coldest and most extreme environments in the world thanks to its incredible warmth and minimal weight. It is specifically designed for technical alpine ascents above 7000m, arctic crossings or any time when you're exposed to freezing environments for prolonged periods.

The Olympus Mons Cube uses UltraSound Welded technology ensures a seamless, water-repellent construction for enhanced safety. Made 100% in the Dolomites, this boot is the lightest of its kind and incorporates the latest technological solutions for maximum comfort and protection.

Any one that has been to altitude knows that even putting your boots on can be an achievement. Because of this La Sportiva designed the easiest fitting system that works with gloves and gives an amazing and adjustable fit. It uses the Corner Zip™ gaiter and the BOA® Fit System double quick closure system, which offers a customizable fit and snug protection from the elements.

It features a lightweight yet durable Vibram® Litebase + Vibram® Morflex sole for maximum abrasion resistance. The removable, thermal bootie boosts insulation to keep your feet warm and speeds up drying time at base camp. Rely on this high-altitude boot for superior performance and comfort.

This is a boot you can rely on when your life depends on it.

La Sportiva Olympus Mons Cube Boot Features

  • Super-clean and seamless thanks to the internal thermo-taping and the innovative UltraSonic Welding technology that allows materials to be joined together without stitching
  • Corner Zip™ that runs along the full length of the gaiter and allows full opening and direct access to the regulation of the internal Boa® Fit System lacing
  • Double removable, extremely thermal bootie
  • Dual Dial BOA® Fit System for differentiated lacing between the upper and lower part of the internal shell, designed for use with gloves
  • The lower BOA® Fit System is directly connected to an internal front gusset that improves the overall water repellence
  • Attachment points for the skialp binding thanks to the inserts that are compatible with tech bindings: ideal for arctic crossing with skis and skins
