The La Sportiva Nepal EVO GTX is an insulated mountaineering boot for technical use at moderate altitude / steep angled terrain. Starting from the ground up, a new sole with the Impact Brake System is designed to reduce shock on hard ground. Moving up from there, Polyurethane inserts under the heel ball areas help to reduce impact. The foot will be nicely insulated with the Ibi-Thermo footbed and the Gore-Tex/Duratherm lining. This lining also provides water protection while allowing the foot to breathe. Finally, the 3D Flex System hinge provides support regardless of the terrain you find yourself on. La Sportiva have also built in an elasticated gaiter for snow protection to make this boot excel on ice, mixed and steep alpine climbs around the world.
