Description

Simon Carter at Onsight Photography has been working hard on the updated South East Queensland Climbing Guide Book and here it is!

10 years ago there was basically Frog Buttress and Coolum. Since then there has been more development than Barangaroo and South East Queensland should be on any climbers radar no matter what your style. Except ice climbing, definitely no ice climbing. But over 1250 routes with hard sport, multipitches and quality trad to make a great trip.

What Onsight Photography has to say -

We are proud to present the new South East Queensland Climbing, Selected Crags, 2018 Edition guidebook!

The popular 2013 Edition guidebook, which has been sold out for some time, has been completely redesigned, fully updated, and significantly expanded for this new edition.

The diverse and interesting crags of South East Queensland offer a wealth of fantastic climbing — and this new book is your key to it all. Covering some of the best sport and trad climbing of the region, this guidebook is a must have for local climbing fanatics and visitors alike. Thoroughly researched and meticulously documented, the areas detailed in this  guidebook are not covered by any other guidebook.

This compact yet comprehensive guidebook details the ever popular Kangaroo Point, the main Glasshouse Mountains areas of Mount Tibrogargan, Mount Ngungun and Mount Beewah, and the areas of Mount Coolum, Mount Tinbeerwah, Serpent and Brooyar. And new to this 2018 Edition, we have added the major newer areas of Pages Pinnacle in the Gold Coast Hinterland and Ninderry on the Sunshine Coast.

All up, 10 major areas are covered, detailing over 1250 routes.

The book is authored by Lee Cujes in collaboration with Glenn Ferguson, Ross Ferguson, John O’Brien, Mark Walker and other contributors. It features inspiring action photography by many photographers. And the numerous cliff photo topos, access maps and professional user-friendly design help make route finding a breeze.

A5, full-colour, 200 pages.
