Specifications

The ultimate performance climbing rope using the lates XEROS technology.

The Sterling Quest XEROS 9.6mm gives peak performance over a whole range of climbing styles including sport, trad and alpine climbing. The 9.6mm diameter trims the fat a little and lets the rope slide better through gear which reduces drag, especially on those longer pitches. For alpine climbs and long trad multi-pitches this means so much more ease of climbing which can add up to a lot over a day. For sport climbing this could mean you get the send!

What is XEROS? Dry is the new standard. Plus it's BlueSign approved and a more durable treatment than ever before. Xeros is the latest premium climbing rope range from Sterling ropes that uses a brand new manufacturing process that try treats every fibre of the rope before it is braided. It's better all round, better for the environment and better for the durability of the treatment.

This 80m rope is for the ambitious types. Generally if you're looking for an 80m climbing rope then you've got a climb or a few specific ones in mind that you're looking at doing. They're also good for climbers planning on heading over to Europe as some of the sport climb pitches over there can get rather long.
