Description

Made from a full carbon construction, the Black Diamond Distance FLZ poles will hardly make an impact to the weight of your pack, and come time to use them they'll give you down hill support, stability and uphill propulsion. With an easy and quick flick lock adjuster the Carbon FLZ poles gives you a good usable height range and pack down to a minute package size. Supplied with a rubber and flex carbide tip, these poles are a great company on the trail.

To size - 

Drop your arms by your side and measure from the the bone of your elbow to the ground. This is your ideal size. For Runners - Uphill propulsion matters most, size down if you are between sizes. For Hikers - Stability and downhill support is more important, size up if you are between sizes. 

*note: this is a 3 season pole and therefore is not as strong as 4 season models, nor can it acommodate a snow basket. If you are carrying a heavy pack, or crossing lots of soft terrain (snow or mud) you may want to consider a heavier 4 season model.
