Description

The DMM Mantis belay device is a lightweight, high-control tuber for cragging and gym use, weighing just 45 g with a broad rope range from 7.3 mm to 11 mm. Its hot-forged, CNC-tuned internal geometry delivers smooth feeding, confident catches and reliable abseil control, while two friction modes let you flip the device to fine-tune bite on thin alpine cords or plush single ropes. Compatible with single, half and twin ropes, the Mantis covers everything from wall sessions to multi-pitch days without adding bulk to your harness. If you want a simple, do-it-all belay plate that pairs low weight with excellent rope handling, the Mantis is a smart, durable choice.

DMM Mantis Belay Device Features

  • Super light construction at 45 g for minimal harness weight

  • High-performance internal geometry for smooth paying out and positive catches
  • Hot-forged and CNC-shaped body optimised for modern small-diameter ropes
