The Classic belay device made better. The DMM Mantis belay device takes high performance geometry to give you the perfect amount of breaking friction while making it easy to feed. DMM also achieved the weight of 45grams by using their advanced hot forging techniques to cut away everything that didn't need to be there. It has two friction modes and works beautifully with single ropes from 8.5 to 11mm and half ropes from 7.3 to 9.2mm. All made in Wales by the best guys in the business: DMM.
