  • Hi, just wondering if this carabiner is made of steel or alloy?

    Hello,
    These DMM Shadow Quicklock carabiners are alloy. As a general rule all climbing carabiners, certainly those you carry on you, are made from alloy these days. Steel is mainly for rigging or setting up toperopes only so not that much around in the recreational world.
