Description

The new, comprehensive, latest and greatest Blue Mountains Climbing Guide is here and it has more routes than you can poke a clip stick at!

3421 to be exact. You are not going to get bored...

Simon Carter from Onsight Photography has poured his heart and soul once again into his beloved Blue Mountains guide book and it's now one of the largest guide books in the world. It features a tonne of new photography as well as easy to navigate information and page layouts. Importantly, all access information is updated and there are maps for all 58 crags, may of them new.

Apart from Simon Carter himself, there has been major contribution from the likes of Moniquie Forestier, Paul Thomson, Niall Doherty, Ben Lane, Michael Law, Glenn Short, Eugene Mac and many more. Particular new areas of interest that aren't included in the 2015 edition are Farside, Marchants Canyon (Waylander), Bald Head, Odin Head and Oronga Crags (Banksy).

The Blue Mountains is Australia's largest climbing area and features a huge array of climbing at every grade and style. From super easy and accessible beginner climbing to adventurous, hard and committing multi-pitches. It has it all. The style of sandstone lends itself mainly to sport climbing but there's plenty of trad routes around to keep everyone happy. Climbing is suitable all year round, mainly play in the sun in winter and in the shade for summer for happy days.
