Description

A beefier version of the Outdoor Research Crocodile Gaiters. Built for mountaineering, alpine climbing and expeditioning in cold weather and difficult conditions. Outdoor Research gave these guys a larger in circumference to fit with plastic boots and insulated pants. The inside leg is made of durable Cordura fabric that resists crampon snagging.

 

Outdoor Research Expedition Crocodile Gaiters GTX Features

  • Waterproof 3-layer Taslan Gore-tex leg section.
  • 1000D Cordura reinforced inner leg section.
  • 1000D Cordura boot section, lined with coated 8oz. packcloth.
  • Hook/loop Cinch-Strap top closure.
  • 2" wide hook and loop front closure.
  • Hook/loop shear tab at bottom of front closure prevents separation.
  • Double-riveted boot lace hook.
  • Field replaceable, urethene-coated nylon instep strap.

  • Hi there, as per the product description if I were wearing my Spantiks and an insulating layer such as Neoplumes would these gaiters definitely fit around that circumference?

    Hello, Yes these will fit over the Spantiks and Neoplumes. You may need to make sure you get the right size but these are purposefully made to fit with expedition gear

  • Could you please advise what the top length is?

    The top width of the gaiters is the circumference that should fit around your upper calf. 

    The size guide for the Expedition Crocodiles is as follows:
