Kestrel 48

Description

The Osprey Kestrel 48 Litre pack is hard to put in a box because it's so versatile. With basically all the features of a large rucksack shrunken down, the Osprey Kestrel is a super comfy and robust large daypack for when you have to carry a bit of extra gear like ropes or camera equipment. But it will easily extend out to being a lightweight multi-day hiker. Other awesome uses for the Kestrel are for hut hiking, Nepal trekking or it will just squeeze on as carry on luggage if compressed a little when traveling to warmer climates. This thing will do it all!

It features Osprey's LightWire frame and harness system similar to their larger packs which transports basically anything you could fit in 48 litres with ease. It also features stretch stuff pockets for rain jackets and water bottles etc. and an integrated rain cover. Traditional top loading for durability and weather protection, it also has bottom compartment and bottom entry. 

We have seen this pack go through a number of incarnations over the years and it remains one of the best and versatile packs we've seen.
